here’s junior moderator’s latest crazy idea
lets form a party on this website. we’ll draft our own manfesto, have our own policies and we can also have members standing for party posts. although not a real party it will be nice to see whether we have what it takes to form a party
how about some names for the party?
then we will have some sppeches and we will choose a leader
help make this successful

let me suggest “welfare and development party” as the name for our junior moderator’s new party. if the party ideology is to serve and uplift the “common men”, i am available as a party member.
by the way, wouldn’t it be good for the country if we can manage to form a real third party? since ‘good candidates’ are already taken by the two existing party, a third party many not stand a chance but giving some sort of a competition to these two parties and choice to the voters would be really really good.

ok the names are still coming in so that can wait.
the manifesto
The party shall work on the basis of people’s demands alone
The party shall consider all constituencies the same whether the party has won or lost in that constituency
The party shall field qualified candidates so that in case of victory, ministerial and other posts can be properly given
The party shall not field any candidates or use as party workers any person who has indulged in corruption and illegal activities
The party shall not allow any person above the age of 45 to join the party in order ensure that the party retains its effectiveness and energy. this will also keep the party’s focus on the long term future

all for now readers and party members

Devine_Madman,

pracmatic? i am sure you meant ‘pragmatic’ instead, right? okay, for a moment let you and me assume that i am not pragmatic and apwangdrugay is in a fool’s paradise. assuming so, would you be kind enough to be pragmatic and not be in a fool’s paradise and let the readers know your enlightened vision or opinion or whatever? that will be enlightening for people like me who are not pragmatic and people like apwangdrugay who are in fool’s paradise as you say.

looking forward to your detailed explanation as to how apwangdrugay is in fool’s paradise and i am not pragmatic.

by the way, i just hope you are not living in madman’s time.  cool smirk

devine madman first i dont want to fault your spellings like dzongpoen did though you might want to change the spelling of the name as well.
now i know what you mean by a fool’s paradise. but firstly we are on the web as anonymous users, second as mentioned by me at the start this is just a make believe political organization just to throw ideas around. so knowing full well that we are all indulging in a mock exercize we are exchanging ideas, which you have mistaken for a serous effort at forming a party. just think of this as a good action thriller but please remember we are not really being shot dead.
Back to the party
please bring on the names

devine, i think very much that apwang anddzongpoen are not teaching you how to boil egg, just how to spell. being grandfather probably means no school in those days in english no? so spelling class ok

How about Apa’s Shenphen Nashen Party (ASNP) meaning (apwang’s welfare youth party)
or bettert still Free thinking democratic party (FTDP); or Progressive Women’s Party (PWP)? that is if you have already not decided on the party name. I will come back with the rest of the stuff later!!!
