What I found most hilarious was the way the PDP leader says that if his party did win the elections and he became premier, he would not approve Prados to be given to the ministers spouses, coming from someone who already has two Prados under his belt and maybe a Land Cruiser or too it was a bit too much to swallow, if indeed he was so concerned about the Prado issue, why did he not return the ones given to him earlier when he had an opportunity to do so, so its just pulling wool over our eyes.

So how can you expect such a person to lead us!

If PDP leader really did say this, it is good news for Bhutan. Why talk about the past, let us talk about the present and the future. If Lyonpo Sangay Ngedup is going to do away with perks for the ministers, that is great news for the people of Bhutan. The savings from this could go into safe drinking water for people in several remote and rural villages. Hats off to you, Lyonpo.

I think the talk of Prados deserves a proper analysis. Firstly we all know there are in total seven ministers who have reigned to answer the call of the nation; two have joined PDP and five have joined DPT.

First lets talk of PDP - Two ministers - LSN served as a minister for 10 years of which two years was as PM
two prados and a land cruiser
- LJS served as a minister for four years
one prado and a land cruiser
So PDP ministers have cost the RGOB ==== TWO LAND CRUISERS and THREE PRADOS!!!

Now lets talk of DPT - Five ministers - LJYT served as a minister for ten years of which two as PM
two prados and a land cruiser
- LYZ served as a minister for ten years of which two as PM
two prados and a land cruiser
- LKW served as a minister for ten years of which two as PM
two prados and a land cruiser
- LUT served as a minister for four years
one prados and a land cruiser
- LWN served as a minister for four years
one prados and a land cruiser
So DPT ministers have cost the RGOB === FIVE LAND CRUISERS AND EIGHT PRADOS!!!

PDP = 12 YEARS of ministership and 2 YEARS of PMship
DPT = 32 YEARS of ministership and 6 YEARS of PMship

During the last 10 years - the ministers introduced the FAMOUS Ps - PRADOS, POLICE, PAY etc PLease do research under whose PMship what was done: achievements and FAILURES.

More analysis on the ministers is most welcome as they are now going above blowing a soundless trumpet.
