I have gone across the forum pages and cane across lots of complain against this Forum, so Once again, I would like to ask the moderators, whether the users are safe when using this forum or not. Besides, I feel moderator should be good enough to provide the users a comfortable usement of forum, so why there is so many topic discussed about this forum website inside this forum only.

the question i have asked my senior moderator many times is whether we (the moderators and maintainers of this site) are safe! but we are, i believ doing nothing wrong. there is no blatant accusation of people without reason (sometmes people ask for proof but in a small society like Bhutan, where there is smoke usually there is fire and therefore even if someone exaggerates most people are actually saying what they believ to be true and has origins in truth). We are also discussing many topics which people raise. please remember, as moderators, we are first and foremost the ones worried. but we also know that without readers and writers there is no use for a site so our interest is to keep the site running and to provide some entertainment, news, information. and we feel we might actually do a better job than the newspapers in existence or kuenselonline and other online papers.

Well, I have a mixed feeling or opinion on this forum site.

No doubt is a very important platform, which makes people to be more aware and careful of ones conduct be in terms of delivering service or activities.  Many will agree that it has brought lots of good changes.

But at the same time, I have an apprehension about it.  Although, honestly speaking, I do not mean to discourage the forum owners or the posters.....it is necessary and the forum should keep running.

Talking about safety, nothing is safe in the net world. You see what has happened to bhutantimes.com and the recent internet defamation law suit in Paro were an engineer was penalized ed by the court.  If the situation demands, even the site owners and the modetrators can be un-masked and the information of the posters can be explored so easily.

We hope that people must be careful...be it moderators/ site woners or the posters.

Any say?

Well....It true that its not safe in world of net, but as far as I am concern, I would love to be clear about the background and history about the forum that we are using. So as to be free to post anything, we should feel secure that what we post are not posted in wrong place...And about Bhutantimes.com, I would let you guys know that, I came to know that the website http://www.bhutantimes.com is still active and could be visited from other countries other than Bhutan. well....Now its onto Moderators and Administrators of website to keep us, the users on safe side....

hope so.

Peace Dude

bhutantimes.com is blocked in Bhutan only.  They cannot block in other countries because they have their own ways of doing things and would not listen to somebody, who is talking about their own interests.

Yes, the bhutantimes.com can be viewd actually…
