Why speak of an organization and a system that has been ineffective, inefficient and a total failure. The latest development provides us with a ray of hope that things will improve in future. More such surprises is welcome. Need people who can deliver placed in positions where they can deliver. I think that is what we are looking forward to the future - DELIVER!!!!!
i agree. why criticize PCS then ask where is PCS? as far as me i dont care very much if pcs exists. useless people are being taken out and good people being brought iin andn some more please some more.
High level people are promoted without fulfilling the criteria of PCS and lower level peoples’ promotion are revoked despite fulfilling the criteria of PCS. Its really confusing. I sometimes have to pinch myself to check that I am not dreaming seeing all these happening.
all posters would be serving readers better if they supplied arguments instead of sentences on either side of the issue
here is apwangdrugay’s analysis
its a poor analysis because i have no idea whatpcs is. the labour secretary was a mad man with his strengths in places other than in such a high position in an imporant ministry. the trade secretary was doing things in rapa that a senior person shouldnt be doing. of course if they were doing these things and working well, it would be better excused but thats not the case. now if you leave it to pcs the question is ‘would the secretaries have been removed in the first place?’ so what open competition are you talking about? my grievance is that rcsc should make reasons known and clear so we know what the failings of the old persons are and what the strengths of the new ones are. it would help us understand what was wrong with the education secretary or the planning secretary
and what is happening to the vacant posts of the agriculture secretary and so on
