People of Bhutan had been inside pond for so many years that they don’t know what is sea and ocean. Yes we have few chamchas who had seen the outside world but they were mouth piece of Monarch, who didn’t want to loose their chair by speaking against Monarch. Some people in Bhutan even fear with democracy coz they think that democracy is some kind of monster who will disturb them.
I do have some reservation what kind of democracy will come in Bhutan coz still we have people who will be contesting in election who have been injected with Wangchuk idealogy. So if they come to power they still have “I am Prime Minister of Bhutan” mentality.
What Bhutan need at this modern time is not position and power oriented but servanthood oriented.
While choosing our leader to lead us we have to consider few things:
1. Is person more people oriented or Power oriented?
2. Servanthood attitude or leadership attitude?
3. Will he/she be able to understand the heart of people?
There are many more points but I am just checking if I can post this forum.

Wangchuck idealogy is Gross National Happiness of the people. If that is bad then you cant be Bhutanese. Bhutanese are worried very much about democracy because we want a democracy which is good not democracy of Nepal. so worrying of democracy is a sign of the love we have for the country of ours. so please either have exact points to discuss or else do not talk about our king and our people like that.

GNH???? What is Gross National Happiness??? Who made this slogan? Go and ask the poor farmer of Tashiyantshe and remote villages of eastern what is GNH means? Listen to the heart cry of poor farmers who cannot afford to send their children in school. Talk to the people who are struggling to feed family with monthly salary. How can a citizen say that he is enjoying a Gross National Happiness when his stomach is empty????
The slogan of GNH is just a outward mask of RGOB to fool the outside media. Do you know that RGOB has two mask? One to show to the outside media and another to show to its own citizen. How can citizens be happy where there voilation of Human Rights? Well you may ask how is Bhutan voilating Human Rights? Eg: If I speak in a same way that I am writing on Forum what will be a reaction of RGOB? They will not waste a second to come and arrest me.
What will be your reaction if some of the citizens think that RGOB is not doing things right coz human can make some error. So they had peaceful demonstration? I now they will start raping and torturing the innocent relatives of those demonstrators for decades. If anyone rise and raise a voice that is slightly against gov RGOB will continue to punish not only one generation but till fourth generation.

if you being just a citizen do that to me for just exercising my freedom of expression what a beast will your govt? You will taste the character of that same beast if you live long enough.

so go immediately and jump down the Mechi Bridge! i think thats the best option left for you. You wont get lost, i will pray and Lord yama will guide you till the cauldron. At first sight you may mistake it as a much awaited treat of hotbath. But mind you, the water gonna be at 1000 degree celsius. You may not like to get in but sorry… Thats the only reward for lying and speaking against my country and people .....

Is this Forum just to write like Ones??? If its than it is useless to have Forum like this. Ones you are wasting time. If you have points to share and debate, do it nicely. This Forum is best among Bhutantimes, Kuensel and anyother mouth piece of RGOB. ONes is tired to debate correct point so starting writing rubbish.
