I am owner of this site. I am a recent graduate (IT degree, BCA from Bangalore), who with some friends thought we should use our skills to provide news service for Bhutanese. There are not many news sites for Bhutan and we think we can also use this experience to gain experience and improve resume for future jobs.

Sorry there is not much information about the site because just setting up forum and news page has taken time. We hope to have more features when they are ready.

We are very happy that many people are already coming here after my posts on kol, bhutantimes.com and kuzuzangpo.com. To be frank, many people are not welcoming of us (especially on kuensel) but presence of so many friends here is making us happy.

So please stay with us and enjoy news and discussons.

A piece of advice to all- I have found something fishy with the BhutanDaily.com.  Please stop posting in this forum because it is the Snare to trap us.  Earlier the better!!

Devine_Madman, I understand you have some concerns which is healthy. In such situation since everyone is anonymous, I don’t think there is any way to convince one way or other. Steve is a friend of mine and he has done favor for me by registering domain name for me. As a recently graduated student, I don’t have requirements like credit card, etc. for this and that is only reason. You can believe me or not, I have no control over that. Best advice for dealing with this situation is if you are so suspicious, don’t post. From my side I can say that we will fully respect confidentiality of posters.

The PDP or LSN are not vindictive and beleive in the basic right of person’s freedom of speech so therefore there is no need for you to fear asnything as long as you do not personally malign or defame someone with lies. You are free to provide your veiws on the party, the candidates and what it may have to offer. I am sure this is also the same case with LJT and the other party.

We all beleive in a healthy debates so that the readers can be educated on the veiws of the party.

Well, the title is BhutanDaily but seems the news in home page are not Bhutan, so it would be upto the name if you could simply post Bhutanese News....This is a small suggestion. Hope this would make this place a better place to chit chat…
