as BO rightly pointed out many dinners taking place for politicking. so much so there is shortage of meat in town. it is believed one can find out how untrustworthy a potential supporter is by seeing how much weight he has put on. if he is fatter he has been attending everyone’s/every party’s meetings. if he is too skinny he has not been invited anywhere else and so is quite useless. if he looks fit then he has just attended your meeting and is trustworthy
this is the new measuring unit for political trustworthiness
on serious note politicking is good but not if you are funding the dinners with government money!
